Overview
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is a trenchless method for installing underground utilities along a planned bore path. A pilot hole is steered beneath the obstacle, enlarged by reaming, and the product pipe is pulled back into place.
Zentra plans each crossing from the ground up: reviewing existing utilities and ground conditions, designing the bore profile, and selecting the rig, tooling and drilling fluid for the job.
The result is a clean installation beneath roads, railways, rivers and sensitive areas, with minimal surface disruption and far less reinstatement than open-cut methods.
